3. Unemployment rate

With a lot of industries and foreign investors building business in a country, unemployment rate should be lower. This affects the currency in such as way that a low unemployment rate is often considered to be a good indication of economic might and therefore can be used as a clue for forex trading.

Tutorial

In this article I would like to show you how you can setup your first website. If you already have a website keep reading and you’ll see a section further down this page that will help you.

There are two choices here, you can build a static HTML website or a Wordpress powered website. Both have there advantages and disadvantages. I suppose Wordpress is best if your going to build a lot of sites and HTML is better if your only going to build 1-2 sites using this method.

To be honest you shouldn’t worry about this right now just get started building your site using either HTML or Wordpress. Nothing is more important than taking action.

Using The Template With Wordpress

OK – In this article I’m going to presume that you already have the basic Wordpress install complete. Here is an article that will teach you exactly how to install wordpress…

• How To Install Wordpress In 5 Minutes Or Less

So now you have Wordpress installed let’s get started. Here is exactly what you need to do…

1. Download the Wordpress template from the link above.
2. Extract the files from the folder using a tool like WIn-Zip.
3. Open up an FTP client such as Filezilla and login to your FTP account – you should get this from your host.
4. Upload the extracted files in the folder wp-content/themes/
5. To activate the theme login to Wordpress.
6. Click the design link and the themes.
7. From the themes select the new theme you have just uploaded.

Now the theme is setup you can start posting a your content… but before you start there are a few changes that you may want to make. You’ll need to change the default resource box to include a little information about the product your promoting and add your affiliate link.

Using The HTML Template

The big difference between using this template and the last is that each page will need to be created manually. This does have it’s advantages and disadvantages. The biggest advantage being with a HTML page you can easily create a new resource box for each article.

Let me tell you that targeting your resource box exactly to the article (and it’s readers) can increase the click through rate on your link by 10-20%.

So… using the HTML template… let’s get started.

Download the file from the link above. Extract the files from the folder. You will see three files, index.html, sitemap.html and sample-page.html.

Using these pages is simple, the index file should be set as your homepage – with an article on the main keyword you have selected. The sitemap file should link to all of the articles on your website. The sample-page is the template you will need to customize and add your content to.

If you already know very basic HTML then using this template will be very simple. If you don’t, you need to pick up the Sitepoint Book on Building Sites With HTML/CSS and start learning the basics.

Don’t worry… I will teach you how to outsource the technical things if you really don’t want to learn this stuff.

For Those Who Already Have A Site

First off, is your website even worth fixing up? If your site already has unique content, is already getting traffic or is just a site you can’t let go of then we can fix it up. But sometimes it’s easier to start from the ground up.

This is something you need to consider before we continue. If you decide to start again, return to the start of this article and follow the instructions. If your sites worth fixing let’s keep going…

No matter what you decide it’s vital that you still use this template. Without a doubt using this template will increase your sites profitability… I’m sure.

Now, if you were smart when you built your website then you would have used Wordpress. If so follow the Wordpress instructions above.

If you didn’t don’t worry. I figure you must have then used another content management system or basic HTML. So before we go any further I want you to take a full backup of your website in it’s current state.

This is just in case things go wrong. Using your backup you can restore your entire website in just a few minutes.

Once you have that done we can get to work. The sites you build using this method MUST have unique content. You need that to really be able to get traffic from the search engines which is our main traffic source.

Other than content and your domain there is really nothing you should be keeping from your sites. So get all the content and add them to text files. Just follow the advice on setting up a Wordpress site and then just add all the content again (ideally keeping the old URL’s).

No matter where you are right now you should be able to get this template up and running on your website.
